Financial Literacy

WALT: expand our financial literacy vocabulary.

Success criteria: To choose five financial literacy words (these might be words from Prep), write a definition and an example of each.

Budget 
Gets a certain amount of money.

Savings 
Saving up money for something 
You save up money for a new car 
Spending 
Spending money to buy stuff
You go shopping and spend alot of money.
Inherit 
Inherit money of people 
Like if someone dies you can inherit money from them.

Bills 
You need to pay bills for your house.
You have to pay like plumbing bills 

Credit card 
A card that has alot of money in it.
The credit cards has your money on it that u have saved up

Earnings 
You get paid money for working 
When you work you get payed for working hard.

Pay pal 
You buy something and pay for it later .
You buy something you don't have the money at the time so you pay later.

Docket 
When you buy something you get a docket so you know what you bought.
Docket buy something and it may fit you or work so you return it that is what a docket i for.
